Hi everyone, long time no see! I'm finishing up my final year at CalArts now! I made these two films this semester - the first is a short one about a little froggy dude, and the second is a bit more ambitious. Thank you for watching and sharing! Hope you are all doing well :D

summer stuff

Summer has been super fun so far! Started an internship at Google recently & went down to Salinas a week ago (Salinas is so beautiful). Couldn't be better.

For some reason I was in a horrible artistic slump after school ended, and I barely drew for a month, but now that I'm at home there's nothing else to do... : ) 

I made a TUMBLR yesterday! If you've got Tumblr let me know and we can be Tumblr friends or something. I'll probably start posting more over there and save this blog for wordy/process-y entries.

(Posting things here is always a huge ordeal for me because I stupidly think this blog exists to be judged. I usually ramble a little bit in each post, read over what I said, get self-conscious, and delete it. This habit of self-editing is toxic and I hate it. A couple third-year-film things:

A while ago I read that a Madame Bovary movie is being made! I'm really excited / scared. I did a few doodles and here's one of them I felt like coloring tonight:

I'm embarrassed to tell you their names. So I won't. They're completely identical so I've had to put red food coloring on a couple of them in order to tell em apart : )
